Common questions

Short answers. If yours isn't here, just run the audit and reply to the email.

Is the SEO audit actually free?

Yes. No credit card, no signup, no email required (you can give one if you want a copy of the report sent to you, but it's optional). The audit takes 15 to 30 seconds, returns 20+ scored checks, and I keep the report at a private permalink so you can come back to it later.

What's actually inside the report?

Title tag length and structure, meta description, H1 and heading hierarchy, mobile viewport, Open Graph and Twitter cards, canonical URLs, structured data (LocalBusiness schema), sitemap.xml and robots.txt presence, image alt-text coverage, Lighthouse SEO and performance and accessibility scores, mobile page speed, word count, and tracking infrastructure. Every failing check comes with a plain-English fix.

Will it slow down my website?

No. The audit runs from my servers, not your visitors' browsers. It fetches your homepage and a couple of secondary URLs (sitemap.xml, robots.txt). Same load as one extra visitor.

Do you handle the fixes too?

Optional. The report lists every issue with a plain-English fix, so you can hand it to your web person. If you'd rather I handle it, $29 to $99 a month covers a fresh site on your domain with hosting, SSL, mobile-first design, and ongoing maintenance. No setup fee on any plan. The CTA on your report page lets you ask for it directly.

What if my Lighthouse score is already good?

Then the audit will tell you, and you don't need me. About a third of the sites I audit are already in good shape on the technical SEO side and what they actually need is more content or a better mobile design. I'll say that, not push you into a plan.

How is this different from Ahrefs or Semrush free tools?

Two ways. First, my audit is one URL, no trial signup, no "create an account to see your full report" wall. Second, a real person (Ben, me) reads every audit. If you reply to the email or click "have Ben fix this for me" on the report, I answer personally within hours, not an autoresponder.
